Government Code § 547.0353","heading":"MATCHING CONTRIBUTIONS REQUIRED; GRANT CONDITIONS.","body":"(a) The commission shall condition each grant provided to a community collaborative under this subchapter on the collaborative providing funds from non-state sources in a total amount at least equal to:\n(1) 25 percent of the grant amount if the collaborative includes a county with a population of less than 100,000;\n(2) 50 percent of the grant amount if the collaborative includes a county with a population of 100,000 or more but less than 250,000;\n(3) 100 percent of the grant amount if the collaborative includes a county with a population of 250,000 or more; and\n(4) the percentage of the grant amount otherwise required by this subsection for the largest county included in the collaborative, if the collaborative includes more than one county.\n(b) A community collaborative may seek and receive gifts, grants, or donations from any person to raise the required funds from non-state sources.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611), Sec. 1.01, eff.
