Government Code § 54A.112","heading":"NOTICE OF RIGHT TO DE NOVO HEARING; WAIVER.","body":"(a) Notice of the right to a de novo hearing before the referring court shall be given to all parties.\n(b) The notice may be given:\n(1) by oral statement in open court;\n(2) by posting inside or outside the courtroom of the referring court; or\n(3) as otherwise directed by the referring court.\n(c) Before the start of a hearing by an associate judge, a party may waive the right of a de novo hearing before the referring court in writing or on the record.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., 1st C.S., Ch. 3 (H.B. 79), Sec. 6.01, eff.
