Government Code § 54A.310","heading":"GENERAL POWERS OF ASSOCIATE JUDGE.","body":"(a) On the motion of a party or the associate judge, an associate judge may return a complex guardianship proceeding to the referring court for final disposition after recommending temporary orders for the protection of a ward.\n(b) An associate judge may:\n(1) render and sign any pretrial order; and\n(2) recommend to the referring court any order after a trial on the merits.\nAdded by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 627 (H.B. 79), Sec. 1, eff.
