Government Code § 550.0058","heading":"DUTIES OF TEXAS NONPROFIT COUNCIL.","body":"The council, in coordination with the interagency coordinating group, shall:\n(1) make recommendations for improving contracting relationships between state agencies and faith- and community-based organizations;\n(2) develop best practices for cooperating and collaborating with faith- and community-based organizations; and\n(3) identify and address:\n(A) duplication of services provided by this state and faith- and community-based organizations; and\n(B) gaps in state services that faith- and community-based organizations could fill.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611), Sec. 1.01, eff.
