Government Code § 571.066","heading":"ELECTRONIC DATA BASE.","body":"(a) The Department of Information Resources shall study the implementation of the most appropriate electronic data base to enhance the commission's abilities to administer this chapter.\n(b) The commission shall:\n(1) establish an electronic data base composed of statements and reports filed with the commission;\n(2) provide the public with access to that data;\n(3) establish a system to provide access by electronic data transmittal processes to that data;\n(4) set and charge a fee for electronic access to the data base in an amount reasonable and necessary to cover the costs of access; and\n(5) ensure that entries entered on multiple reports may be electronically cross-referenced in the data base.\nAdded by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 268, Sec. 1, eff.
