Government Code § 653.009","heading":"PAYMENT OF PREMIUMS.","body":"The state, as beneficiary, shall pay premiums on bonds under this chapter from:\n(1) money appropriated by the legislature for that purpose;\n(2) money appropriated by the legislature to a state agency that may be used for:\n(A) administration or administration expense;\n(B) operation expense;\n(C) general operation expense;\n(D) maintenance;\n(E) miscellaneous expense; or\n(F) contingencies; or\n(3) money of a state agency that:\n(A) is outside the state treasury; and\n(B) may be used by the agency for operational expenses of the agency.\nAdded by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 268, Sec. 1, eff.
