Government Code § 659.302","heading":"ENTITLEMENT TO RECEIVE HAZARDOUS DUTY PAY.","body":"(a) Hazardous duty pay is included in the compensation paid to an individual for services rendered during a month if the individual:\n(1) is a state employee for any portion of the first workday of the month; and\n(2) has completed at least 12 months of lifetime service credit not later than the last day of the preceding month.\n(b) This section does not apply to an employee of the Texas Juvenile Justice Department.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1158, Sec. 37, eff.
