Government Code § 660.015","heading":"CANCELLATION CHARGES.","body":"A state agency may pay or reimburse a state employee for a cancellation charge if:\n(1) the charge is incurred for a reason related to official state business or to official state business that could not be conducted because of a natural disaster or other natural occurrence; or\n(2) the charge is:\n(A) related to a transportation expense that was paid in advance to obtain lower rates; and\n(B) incurred because the employee was unable to use the transportation because of an illness or a personal emergency.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1300, Sec. 4, eff.
