Government Code § 661.916","heading":"LEAVE FOR ORGAN OR BONE MARROW DONORS.","body":"(a) A state employee is entitled to a leave of absence without a deduction in salary for the time necessary to permit the employee to serve as a bone marrow or organ donor.\n(b) The leave of absence provided by this section may not exceed:\n(1) five working days in a fiscal year to serve as a bone marrow donor; or\n(2) 30 working days in a fiscal year to serve as an organ donor.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 177, Sec. 1, eff.
