Government Code § 664.051","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(1) Repealed by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 946 , Sec. 1.06(e), eff. September 1, 2015.\n(2) \"Department\" means the Department of State Health Services.\n(3) \"Executive commissioner\" means the executive commissioner of the Health and Human Services Commission.\n(4) \"State agency\" means a department, institution, commission, or other agency that is in the executive, judicial, or legislative branch of state government.\n(5) \"State employee\" means a state employee who participates in a health benefits program administered under Chapter 1551, Insurance Code.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 665 (H.B. 1297), Sec. 4, eff.
