Government Code § 72.085","heading":"COURT OF CRIMINAL APPEALS.","body":"The court of criminal appeals shall annually report to the office:\n(1) the number of cases filed with the court during the reporting year involving:\n(A) capital punishment;\n(B) an application for writ of habeas corpus; or\n(C) a petition for discretionary review;\n(2) the number of cases disposed of by the court during the reporting year involving:\n(A) capital punishment;\n(B) an application for writ of habeas corpus; or\n(C) a petition for discretionary review;\n(3) the average number of days from the date a case was filed with the court until the reporting date, for each active case on the docket of the court on the reporting date involving:\n(A) capital punishment;\n(B) an application for writ of habeas corpus; or\n(C) a petition for discretionary review; and\n(4) the average number of days from the date a case was filed with the court until the date the case was disposed of by the court, for each case disposed of during the reporting year by the court involving:\n(A) capital punishment;\n(B) an application for writ of habeas corpus; or\n(C) a petition for discretionary review.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1327, Sec. 3, eff.
