Government Code § 783.005","heading":"UNIFORM ASSURANCES.","body":"(a) The comptroller shall develop uniform and concise language for any assurances that a local government is required to make to a state agency.\n(b) The comptroller may:\n(1) categorize assurances according to the type of grant or contract;\n(2) designate programs to which the assurances are applicable; and\n(3) revise the assurances.\n(c) The standards for assurances developed under this chapter may not affect methods of distribution or amounts of federal funds received by a state agency or a local government.\nAdded by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., ch. 38, Sec. 1, eff.
