Government Code § 81.051","heading":"BAR MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED.","body":"(a) The state bar is composed of those persons licensed to practice law in this state. Bar members are subject to this chapter and to the rules adopted by the supreme court.\n(b) Each person licensed to practice law in this state shall, not later than the 10th day after the person's admission to practice, enroll in the state bar by registering with the clerk of the supreme court.\nAdded by Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 148, Sec. 3.01, eff.
