Government Code § 81.103","heading":"UNAUTHORIZED PRACTICE OF LAW COMMITTEE.","body":"(a) The unauthorized practice of law committee is composed of nine persons appointed by the supreme court.\n(b) At least three of the committee members must be nonattorneys.\n(c) Committee members serve for staggered terms of three years with three members' terms expiring each year.\n(d) A committee member may be reappointed.\n(e) Each year the supreme court shall designate a committee member to serve as chairperson.\n(f) All necessary and actual expenses of the committee should be provided for and paid out of the budget of the state bar.\nAdded by Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 148, Sec. 3.01, eff.
