Government Code § 811.102","heading":"PENALTIES.","body":"(a) An offense under Section 811.101(a) or 811.101(b) is a felony punishable by imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for not less than one nor more than five years.\n(b) An offense under Section 811.101(c) is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $5,000.\n(c) An offense under Section 811.101(d) is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000.\nActs 1981, 67th Leg., p. 1876, ch. 453, Sec. 1, eff.
