Government Code § 825.009","heading":"LEAVE FOR MEMBER TRUSTEES.","body":"(a) A trustee appointed from a slate of members nominated by members of the retirement system under Section 825.002 is entitled to leave with pay from the trustee's public school employer to attend to the official business of the retirement system.\n(b) The retirement system may enter into an agreement with the public school employer to adequately compensate the employer for the loss of services of the trustee.\nAdded by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., 1st C.S., ch. 13, Sec. 14, eff.
