Government Code § 854.307","heading":"CERTIFICATION OF END OF DISABILITY.","body":"(a) If the medical board finds that a disability retiree is no longer mentally or physically incapacitated for the performance of duty or is able to engage in gainful occupation, it shall certify its findings and submit them to the board of trustees.\n(b) If the board of trustees concurs in a certification under this section, it shall discontinue annuity payments to the retiree.\nActs 1981, 67th Leg., p. 1876, ch. 453, Sec. 1, eff.
