Government Code § 855.114","heading":"OBTAINING INFORMATION.","body":"(a) In this section, \"participant\" means a member, former member, retiree, annuitant, beneficiary, or alternate payee of the retirement system.\n(b) The board of trustees shall obtain from participants or participating municipalities information necessary for the proper operation of the retirement system.\n(c) Each participant and participating municipality shall timely provide, in the form and manner specified by the retirement system, information necessary for the proper operation and administration of the retirement system.\nActs 1981, 67th Leg., p. 1876, ch. 453, Sec. 1, eff.
