Health and Safety Code § 12.094","heading":"RULES RELATING TO MEDICAL ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS.","body":"(a) The executive commissioner:\n(1) may adopt rules to govern the activities of the medical advisory board;\n(2) by rule may establish a reasonable fee to pay a member of the medical advisory board for the member's professional consultation services; and\n(3) if appropriate, may authorize reimbursement for travel expenses as provided by Section 2110.004, Government Code, for each meeting a member attends.\n(b) The fee under Subsection (a)(2) may not be less than $75 or more than $150 for each meeting that the member attends.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 9, eff.
