Health and Safety Code § 121.0066","heading":"ESSENTIAL PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES PROVIDED BY DEPARTMENT.","body":"(a) Subject to the availability of funds, the department may provide essential public health services for a population for which a municipality, county, public health district, or other political subdivision is not receiving a grant to provide those services under Section 121.0065.\n(b) Subject to the availability of funds, the department shall develop a plan that complies with Section 121.0065(d) to evaluate the effectiveness, accessibility, and quality of essential public health services provided under this section.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 1378, Sec. 2, eff.
