Health and Safety Code § 146.0025","heading":"EXEMPTIONS FROM LICENSING REQUIREMENTS; EAR PIERCING ESTABLISHMENTS EXEMPT.","body":"(a) This chapter does not apply to:\n(1) a medical facility licensed under other law;\n(2) an office or clinic of a person licensed by the Texas Medical Board;\n(3) a person who performs only ear piercing; or\n(4) a facility in which only ear piercing is performed.\n(b) A person who conducts, operates, or maintains a facility, office, or clinic described by Subsection (a)(1), (2), or (4) is not required to obtain a license under this chapter to operate that facility.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 516, Sec. 3, eff.
