Health and Safety Code § 146.013","heading":"MAINTENANCE OF RECORDS.","body":"(a) A tattooist shall maintain a permanent record of each person tattooed by the tattooist for a period established by department rule. A person who performs body piercing shall maintain a permanent record of each individual whose body is pierced by the person for a period established by department rule.\n(b) The record shall be available for inspection on the request of the department.\nAdded by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 580, Sec. 1, eff.
