Health and Safety Code § 191.005","heading":"VITAL STATISTICS ACCOUNT.","body":"(a) The vital statistics account is an account in the general revenue fund in the state treasury.\n(b) The legislature shall make appropriations to the department from the vital statistics account to be used to defray expenses incurred in the administration and enforcement of the system of vital statistics.\n(c) All fees collected by the department under this chapter shall be deposited to the credit of the vital statistics account.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
