Health and Safety Code § 193.009","heading":"BURIAL RECORDS.","body":"(a) The person in charge of premises on which interments are made shall keep a record of the bodies interred or otherwise disposed of on the premises.\n(b) The records must include for each decedent:\n(1) the decedent's name;\n(2) the place of death;\n(3) the date of interment or disposal;\n(4) the name and address of the funeral director; and\n(5) any other information required by the state registrar.\n(c) The records are open to official inspection at all times.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
