Health and Safety Code § 221.031","heading":"CONVEYANCE OF LAND.","body":"(a) A development corporation may convey land by deed if the conveyance is authorized by an appropriate resolution of the board of directors. The deed may be with or without the corporation's seal and must be signed by the corporation's president, vice-president, or attorney.\n(b) If the deed is acknowledged by the signing officer or attorney to be the act of the development corporation, or if the deed is proved in the manner prescribed for other conveyances of land, it may be recorded in the same manner and with the same effect as other deeds.\n(c) A deed that is signed by the development corporation's president or vice-president and recorded is prima facie evidence that the board of directors adopted the appropriate resolution.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
