Health and Safety Code § 242.0371","heading":"NOTICE OF CERTAIN EMPLOYMENT POLICIES.","body":"(a) An institution licensed under this chapter shall prepare a written statement describing the institution's policy for:\n(1) the drug testing of employees who have direct contact with residents; and\n(2) the conducting of criminal history record checks of employees and applicants for employment in accordance with Chapter 250.\n(b) The institution shall provide the statement to:\n(1) each person applying for services from the institution or the person's next of kin or guardian; and\n(2) any person requesting the information.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 1020, Sec. 2, eff.
