Health and Safety Code § 242.152","heading":"PHYSICIAN SERVICES FOR RESIDENTS YOUNGER THAN 18 YEARS OF AGE.","body":"(a) An institution shall use appropriate pediatric consultative services for a resident younger than 18 years of age, in accordance with the resident's assessment and comprehensive plan of care.\n(b) A pediatrician or other physician with training or expertise in the clinical care of children with complex medical needs shall participate in all aspects of the resident's medical care.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1159, Sec. 1.30, eff.
