Health and Safety Code § 242.157","heading":"DENTAL EXAMINATION.","body":"(a) The department shall require that each resident of an institution or the resident's custodian be asked at least once each year if the resident desires a dental examination and possible treatment at the resident's own expense.\n(b) Each institution shall be encouraged to use all reasonable efforts to arrange for a dental examination for each resident who desires one.\n(c) The institution is not liable for any costs relating to a dental examination under this section.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1159, Sec. 1.30, eff.
