Health and Safety Code § 242.305 (2)","heading":"BOARD OFFICERS; MEETINGS; QUORUM; EXPENSES.","body":"(a) The board shall elect from its members a presiding officer and assistant presiding officer who serve according to rules adopted by the board.\n(b) The board shall hold at least two regular meetings each year as provided by rules adopted by the board.\n(c) A majority of the members constitutes a quorum.\n(d) Each member of the board is entitled to compensation for transportation expenses as provided by the General Appropriations Act.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 1280, Sec. 2.01.","path":["HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE","TITLE 4.
