Health and Safety Code § 242.614","heading":"ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICATION; CRIMINAL PENALTY.","body":"(a) A person commits an offense if the person knowingly administers medication to a resident and the person:\n(1) does not hold a license under state law that authorizes the person to administer medication; or\n(2) does not hold a permit issued by the department under this subchapter.\n(b) An offense under this section is a Class B misdemeanor.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
