Health and Safety Code § 246.113","heading":"PRODUCTION OF EVIDENCE.","body":"(a) In an investigation or proceeding under this chapter, the board may:\n(1) require or allow a person to file a written statement regarding any of the facts and circumstances concerning the matter to be investigated;\n(2) administer oaths and affirmations;\n(3) subpoena witnesses;\n(4) compel attendance;\n(5) take evidence; and\n(6) require the production of any books, papers, correspondence, memoranda, agreements, or other documents or records considered relevant to the inquiry.\n(b) The board may bring suit in district court to enforce a subpoena if the person to whom a subpoena is directed fails to comply.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
