Health and Safety Code § 246.115","heading":"CEASE AND DESIST ORDERS; INJUNCTIONS.","body":"(a) The board may request that the attorney general bring an action to prohibit a person from engaging in an act or practice and to order compliance with this chapter if the board determines, after a complaint or by other means, that the act or practice violates this chapter or an order made under this chapter.\n(b) The action may be brought in the district court of a county in which:\n(1) the defendant resides;\n(2) the defendant has done business;\n(3) the principal place of business of the defendant is located; or\n(4) the transaction occurred.\n(c) The court may grant an injunction or restraining order on a proper showing.
