Health and Safety Code § 248.055","heading":"CRIMINAL PENALTY.","body":"(a) A person who knowingly establishes or operates a special care facility without a license issued under this chapter commits an offense.\n(b) An offense under this section is a Class B misdemeanor.\n(c) Each day of a continuing violation constitutes a separate offense.\nAdded by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., ch. 14, Sec. 115, eff.
