Health and Safety Code § 251.065","heading":"CIVIL PENALTY.","body":"(a) A person who knowingly violates this chapter or who knowingly fails to comply with a rule adopted under this chapter is liable for a civil penalty of not more than $1,000 for each violation if the department finds that the violation threatens the health and safety of a patient of an end stage renal disease facility.\n(b) Each day of a continuing violation constitutes a separate ground for recovery.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 608, Sec. 1, eff.
