Health and Safety Code § 252.203","heading":"PATIENT DAYS.","body":"For each calendar day, a facility shall determine the number of patient days by adding the following:\n(1) the number of patients occupying a facility bed immediately before midnight of that day; and\n(2) the number of beds that are on hold on that day and that have been placed on hold for a period not to exceed three consecutive calendar days during which a patient is on therapeutic leave.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1284, Sec. 9.01, eff.
