Health and Safety Code § 263.074","heading":"GENERAL POWERS AND DUTIES OF SUPERINTENDENT.","body":"(a) The superintendent has general supervision and control of:\n(1) the records and accounts of the hospital;\n(2) the hospital buildings; and\n(3) the internal affairs of the hospital, including discipline.\n(b) The superintendent shall enforce the bylaws and rules adopted by the board of managers for the government, discipline, and management of the hospital and its employees and patients.\n(c) The superintendent may adopt additional rules and orders the superintendent considers necessary that are not inconsistent with law or the rules and directions of the board of managers.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
