Health and Safety Code § 263.076","heading":"OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES.","body":"(a) With the consent of the board of managers, the superintendent shall appoint resident officers and employees considered proper and necessary by the superintendent for the efficient performance of the hospital's business.\n(b) The superintendent shall determine the duties of the officers and employees of the hospital.\n(c) The superintendent may discharge an officer or employee at the discretion of the superintendent for cause stated in writing after an opportunity for a hearing.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
