Health and Safety Code § 263.084","heading":"DISCHARGE OF PATIENTS.","body":"(a) The superintendent shall temporarily or permanently discharge a patient from the hospital if the patient:\n(1) is not sick or injured or recovers from the sickness or injury;\n(2) wilfully or habitually violates hospital rules; or\n(3) is not suitable for treatment for any other reason.\n(b) The superintendent shall make a full report of a discharge of a patient from the hospital at the next meeting of the board of managers after the discharge.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
