Health and Safety Code § 281.0222","heading":"QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE.","body":"(a) This section applies only to the El Paso County Hospital District.\n(b) The El Paso County Commissioners Court may not appoint a person to the board of hospital managers of the district if the person is:\n(1) an employee of El Paso County;\n(2) a district employee; or\n(3) related within the third degree of consanguinity or affinity, as determined under Subchapter B, Chapter 573, Government Code, to a member of the commissioners court or to a person described by Subdivision (1) or (2).\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 841 (H.B. 3462), Sec. 2, eff.
