Health and Safety Code § 281.029","heading":"RETIREMENT PROGRAMS.","body":"(a) With the approval of the commissioners court, the board may contract with the state or the federal government as necessary to establish or continue a retirement program for the benefit of district employees.\n(b) In addition to the retirement programs authorized by Subsection (a), the board may establish a retirement program the board considers necessary and advisable for the benefit of district employees.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
