Health and Safety Code § 287.077","heading":"CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS.","body":"(a) The board may enter into construction contracts for the district.\n(b) The board may enter into construction contracts that involve spending more than $10,000 only after competitive bidding as provided by Subchapter B, Chapter 271, Local Government Code.\n(c) Chapter 2253, Government Code, as it relates to performance and payment bonds, applies to construction contracts let by the district.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 1293, Sec. 1, eff.
