Health and Safety Code § 287.102","heading":"TRANSFER OF ASSETS AFTER DISSOLUTION.","body":"(a) If the district is dissolved, the board shall:\n(1) transfer the land, buildings, improvements, equipment, and other assets acquired by the district to the county or hospital district in which the property is located; or\n(2) administer the property, assets, and debts in accordance with Section 287.103.\n(b) If the district transfers its land, buildings, improvements, equipment, and other assets to a county or hospital district, the county or hospital district assumes all debts and obligations of the district related to the land, buildings, improvements, equipment, or assets at the time of the transfer, and the district is dissolved.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 1293, Sec. 1, eff.
