Health and Safety Code § 288.001","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Commission\" means the commission of a district created under this chapter.\n(2) \"District\" means a county health care funding district created under this chapter.\n(3) \"Paying hospital\" means an institutional health care provider required to make a mandatory payment under this chapter.\n(4) \"Institutional health care provider\" means a nonpublic hospital that provides inpatient hospital services.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 1367 (H.B. 2463), Sec. 1, eff.
