Health and Safety Code § 289.001","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Commission\" means the commission of a district created under this chapter.\n(2) \"District\" means a county health care funding district created by this chapter.\n(3) \"District taxpayer\" means a person or entity who has paid a tax imposed under this chapter.\n(4) \"Institutional health care provider\" means a nonpublic hospital licensed under Chapter 241.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 1367 (H.B. 2463), Sec. 1, eff.
