Health and Safety Code § 300A.0002","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Board\" means the board of directors of a district.\n(2) \"Director\" means a member of the board.\n(3) \"District\" means a health care provider participation district created under this chapter.\n(4) \"Institutional health care provider\" means a nonpublic hospital that provides inpatient hospital services.\n(5) \"Local government\" means a hospital district, county, or municipality to which this chapter applies.\n(6) \"Paying hospital\" means an institutional health care provider required to make a mandatory payment under this chapter.\n(7) \"Program\" means a health care provider participation program authorized by this chapter.\nAdded by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 923 (H.B. 4289), Sec. 2, eff.
