Health and Safety Code § 314.001","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Attorney general\" means the attorney general of Texas or any assistant attorney general acting under the direction of the attorney general of Texas.\n(2) \"Cooperative agreement\" means an agreement among two or more hospitals for the allocation or sharing of health care equipment, facilities, personnel, or services.\n(3) \"Department\" means the Department of State Health Services.\n(3-a) \"Executive commissioner\" means the executive commissioner of the Health and Human Services Commission.\n(4) \"Hospital\" means a general or special hospital licensed under Chapter 241 or a private mental hospital licensed under Chapter 577.\nAdded by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 638, Sec. 1, eff.
