Health and Safety Code § 361.099","heading":"PROHIBITION ON PERMIT FOR HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT UNIT IN WETLANDS.","body":"(a) The commission by rule shall prohibit the issuance of a permit for a new hazardous waste management unit or an areal expansion of an existing hazardous waste management unit if the unit is to be located in wetlands, as defined by the commission.\n(b) In this section and Section 361.100, \"hazardous waste management unit\" means a landfill, surface impoundment, land treatment facility, waste pile, or storage or processing facility used to manage hazardous waste.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
