Health and Safety Code § 363.065","heading":"PLANNING PROCESS; PLANNING AREA.","body":"(a) A regional or local solid waste management plan must result from a planning process that:\n(1) is related to proper management of solid waste in the planning area under consideration; and\n(2) identifies problems and collects and evaluates data necessary to provide a written public statement of goals, objectives, and recommended actions intended to accomplish those goals and objectives.\n(b) A regional solid waste management plan must consider the entire area in an identified planning region.\n(c) A local solid waste management plan must consider all the area in the jurisdiction of one or more local governments but may not include an entire planning region.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
