Health and Safety Code § 371.102","heading":"APPLICABILITY.","body":"(a) This subchapter applies to a used oil filter only if the filter has not been:\n(1) separated into its component parts; or\n(2) burned for:\n(A) steel recovery; or\n(B) energy recovery.\n(b) This subchapter does not apply to:\n(1) an industrial generator that is:\n(A) registered with the commission as an industrial or hazardous waste facility; or\n(B) under the waste management authority of a state agency other than the commission; or\n(2) a do-it-yourselfer.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 366, Sec. 1, eff.
