Health and Safety Code § 382.036","heading":"COOPERATION AND ASSISTANCE.","body":"The commission shall:\n(1) encourage voluntary cooperation by persons or affected groups in restoring and preserving the purity of the state's air;\n(2) encourage and conduct studies, investigations, and research concerning air quality control;\n(3) collect and disseminate information on air quality control;\n(4) advise, consult, and cooperate with other state agencies, political subdivisions of the state, industries, other states, the federal government, and interested persons or groups concerning matters of common interest in air quality control; and\n(5) represent the state in all matters relating to air quality plans, procedures, or negotiations for interstate compacts.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
